Our mission is to help, all that participate in our programs, develop an appreciation for personal and academic development via a variety of activities.
JTP's wish is to offer today’s youth and adults an opportunity to enhance their level of consciousness by exposing them to various forms of artistic self expression.
We are committed to our community by satisfying their need for positive self expression through the development of a strong and unquestionable sense of dignity to all participants in our programs.

AFRO Adult Dance Company
The formation of A.F.R.O. (Authentically Formed Rhythmic Offerings) emerged from a deep commitment to social justice, intergenerational storytelling, and the belief that the body holds
lived truth. As a choreographer and retired educator with over 30 years of teaching experience, my mission is to create socially conscious dance works that honor collective memory, resilience, and the power of movement as a tool for healing, dialogue, and transformation. Working primarily with adult dancers ages 25–70, A.F.R.O. centers the voices and experiences of artists whose bodies reflect history, culture, and survival.
My artistic practice brings together multiple art forms, including dance, music, spoken word, visual art, and storytelling, to create immersive, collaborative works rooted in authenticity and community. Each dancer’s lived experience informs the choreography, allowing the work to emerge as a collective expression rather than a singular narrative. Through this process, movement becomes both testimony and resistance, inviting audiences to confront inequity, celebrate identity, and imagine more just futures.
